I have this same question, and I attempted to modify the registry cardinal at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Mutual\SignIn\SignInOptions.  I do not have a ..\SignIn fundamental at the ..\Mutual location. Is there an alternate primal?

Also, a concurrent effect is the intermittent failure of the Notebook sync function in my OneNote 2016 app. Both that issue and the result with my Outlook app occur while the tray icon for my internet provide a message, "Work WiFi No internet admission", on hover. While syncing works with OneNote 2016, the File->Accounts reports no connection to internet. All of the MS Office apps accept the Account-no internet issue; nevertheless OneDrive appears to be syncing properly. If I connect to the cyberspace through Blutooth on my iPhone, everything appears to work properly; nevertheless, information-usage concerns prohibit this every bit a feasible solution, i.eastward., I have to have MS Office connect reliably to my LAN or WiFi at my piece of work. I am experiencing a total loss of productivity. Cheers in advance for helping with this if you are able. Best regards!

I have found the aforementioned thing.  There is no "SignIn" nether Mutual in the registry on my install of O365.

This is specific for my GMAIL in Outlook.  Nonetheless, I have no trouble if I get into GMAIL via Edge or Firefox.

Unfortunately I use Outlook to store messages from several different email accounts in i identify.  If I take to store GMAIL separately from it's electric current .ost location.  Really complicates record keeping!
